I too have a Farm Innovators incubator and I'm not impressed with it at all. I even bought a digital hygrometer/thermometer and still had a poor hatch rate. I'm seriously considering buy a different brand.

I had seven ducklings hatch from the last batch and am currently keeping them in my upstairs bathroom. They are so stinky and messy! Just wondering if anyone had any good ideas for keeping the broader cleaner and dryer with ducks? I have tried several different things like a splash guard bowl that the watered sits down in. I have tried newspaper, wood shavings, and paper towels. Also has anyone used an outdoor chick brooder during cold temps and if so how was it constructed?
I will have Mille Fleur Duccle hatching eggs for sale next week. My seven hens are laying about 4 a day so things are going well. I am asking $25 per dozen, and as long as they keep laying I will throw in some extras with it. Let me know your thoughts on if or when you might want them and I will give you directions to my place outside of Morgantown. That would be awesome! =) I wish I could get all my flock locally without buying from hatcheries, but the more exotic breeds are so hard to find around here. I love chickens with speckles!! =D
