To this day when I hatch eggs or bring home some chicks my tom cat takes one look and gets on top of my entertainment center starts scowling and cries out that horrible tom cat yodel

Good hubby! Shoot it again for me! I'm so sorry. My kroger produce dude just dropped off a box of produce for my chicks. This stuff is so good that I eat out of it too! Lol. Good trade. Eggs for fresh produce for chickens.

We need to create a WV poultry club...if there isn't one. Then promote swaps, etc.

k No kidding, when I went to get chickens there were so few choices around my area I literally drove 3 hours to get my welsummers and austrolorpes. My whole family has went chicken crazy we are building onto our original coup to make a duplex style coop so we can have two different flocks. well I should say my mom and me and the little one have went chicken crazy and my dad and hubby are like here we go.

That is a good deal. I am growing a bunch of berry bushes/canes and trees so the chickens get the fruit that falls off. My son loves going through our garden to give our chickens anything that has grown too large or fallen off the vine ect...

We really need one. I was a city councilman and so many people wanted chickens we changed the laws. People are really into chickens now. We need to organize our little group.

That is a good deal. I am growing a bunch of berry bushes/canes and trees so the chickens get the fruit that falls off. My son loves going through our garden to give our chickens anything that has grown too large or fallen off the vine ect...

Your local grocer may save stuff for you. My chicks eat it up!

Yes we do! I know that people join Facebook groups and there's swap at some tractor supplies but I'm not sure what else other than that!

Brittsplace, do you live near Gilbert?

I'm totally on board for any swap stuff I think Craigslist and Facebook is best way to market it. I love trading/selling birds as much as getting them!
