Anyone in WV???

Next summer I plan on having Polish and Delaware eggs. Would also love to trade eggs then. Now we have a lot of pure bred hens of different breeds but our rooster is not. Today is day 21 of our hatch and not a pip in the incubator. I'm getting worried!

Day 23. 1 hatch and 2 pips. And another batch ready to go into the incubator! Yikes!

My polish eggs are arriving today, Delawares tomorrow. Very poor planning on my part! Where are all the broody hens when I need them!

Did you, perhaps, count Day 1 as the day you put them in? Day 1 is actually the day they have been in one day.

I candled my Serama eggs last night and they were dancing. I was so excited.

In fact, I was so excited I ordered some more eggs, which was dumb. I am about up to capacity.

Maybe I'll try my broody again.

This is my first hatch. I have never had any before. But they just look so darn cute.

I do not think I will show any of my birds. I suppose I could change my mind, but I showed dogs, and I think at this point I am probably done with showing anything.

I like them to be pretty, but it is for my own pleasure.
