I sell eating eggs.
And yes, I could sell umpteen dozen of them if I had them, and I am adding to my flock.
Everybody LOVES my eggs.
You can sell them to anyone you want to sell them. I did get a 'egg' license from the Dept. of Agriculture, but it was not a problem to get and $10/year.
You just fill in a form. I forget how many dozen you have to sell a month before you are commercial, but it is a lot, way more than I will ever sell, and the regs for a noncommercial seller are not bad.
I put them in clear plastic cartons with my own sticker on them to look pretty and so you can see the lovely eggs through the carton.
You can sell them to restaurants, grocery stores, neighbors, farmer's markets, whatever.
I'll try to find the number to call to find out the regs, but they are not a problem. Like, you have to have your name and address on the labels, and date of packing, which can be the 'Julian' date, and a 'use by' date. The use by date is your choice.
Many states are worse, this is a nice thing about WV.
