Anyone interested in a MIXED WATERFOWL swap??

my sentiments eggs-actly....Thanks for explaining my case. I do end up with 99% or more of Swedish ducklings...Blue, Gray, and Black. I've hatched out 1 all black Cayuga baby in all of the ducklings I have hatched.
This will be a good swap if it happens...

Do you mean like the monthly swaps that barnyard does? I was thinking more along the lines of a chain, where one person offers' x amount of x' then someone else claims those and offers 'x amount of x' and so on, but let me know what you guys think. I think an actual swap would work real well, the element of surprise is always a good thing! Then maybe it wouldn't die out like the designer egg chain has.....

I like the chain idea better myself, sometimes they get slow and sometimes they seem to die out but they seem so much easier to do and you really get what you want.

Keep my on the list of potentially interested peeps.

I have some tweaking to do to my incubator, but I could have it in good repair shortly.

I have a few breeds of ducks running together...the (feed store special),....and then my daughter bought some for her school project to start a buisness...so there are three different ages of misc ducks running around for now!

SO far we have identified these to be "of age" and soon to start laying

1 crested buff runner (solid buff color)
2 buff (not runners)
1 rouen
1 black runner
3 fawn and white runner

HENS

2 blue swedish
1 fawn and white runner
1 black runner
2 pekin
1 cayuga
1 crested black runner

Eight drakes, eight hens, and innumerable possible combinations...until I get some pens put up lol.

Would I still be able to participate after they start laying?

So, do we think there is enough interest for this?
