Anyone interested in a "Mutt" egg chain?

The only problem with that is for people like me

I can usually tell which hen laid which egg, but of the mixed chickens? I have one bird of each breed, and most of them are mixed as well! Plus I have 8 or 9 different roos, and there are at least 6 different breeds of those! And some of those are also mixed themselves! I think something like a list of what the parents could be, instead of what they are. I have standards and bantams all running around the yard, and only 2 of the roos are standards

ETA: Guess I should have read a bit further! Looks like you guys already got it figured out! Will this one banish anyone offering game/quail eggs as well?

i'd love quail/game as well!...i just dont have any to swap back with...

I'd be interested, if I do, I have to offer RIR, Golden Comets, Golden Comet crossed with golden comet, and coturnix eggs. However more than likely the majority of the swap would have to be RIR or GCs because my golden comet crosses only one hen is laying and same too with my coturnix....*Sigh* LOL!

so, lets all name what we have then...

i'm impatient...

...but, not actually swap, until the OP posts the rules and such...

Hen'nbiddies :

I would be interested. I think people should tell what breed the hen is and what breed the roo is. Also I think they should have hatched some of the eggs themselves and proven that they are fertile.

I totally agree that this should be in the rules. I have been watching the egg chain dreaming about more eggs but can't offer pures. However a known cross does interest me. Also, all of the eggs I crack to eat have been fertile. I have 6 in the bator now (due Valentines) and only one is questionable. It looks like development started, but I don't see any movement llike the others.

2 EE roos and 1 BO roo

So, the coop birds are no where NEAR as mixed as the yard birds!!\\

Oh, and I have one black cochin bantam pullet in with a pair of mille fleur d'uccles cause the roo is much nicer to her than the bantam cochin roo. So her eggs would be mixed too!

Well I should probably be taken off the list

In a pen together I have a male crested blue swedish with a regular blue swedish hen duck, a buff hen duck and a fawn and white runner hen duck. In another pen I have a standard Dominique Roo, 2 Australorp hens, a Bantam Golden Laced Cochin Roo, 3 BGLC hens, a crele OEGB Roo, 2 crele hens and a red pyle OEGB hen. The OEGB and the ducks aren't laying right now. The ducks molted 3 or 4 weeks ago and I'm waiting on them to start back up. Both males are getting on with their girls ALL the time though. Running in the yard there is a Bantam Partridge Cochin Roo(I think it has some GL in it) with a gang of hens, all bantams: 2 barred cochins, 1 buff cochin, 1 Golden Laced, 2 partridge cochins, 2 silver seabrights, 1 splash cochin and 2 who knows what they are bantams.:pOh, I forgot Romeo, Juliet and Cleopatra, my guineas. Romeo and Juliet are pearl colored. Cleo is slate. Too bad they don't lay until May.
