I think as long as you list the breeds it could be. That would be good enough. It gives you an idea of what to expect with an element of suprise!

Sorry, I didn't want to exclude anyone!!

... It would be good to post what kind of hens are in your flock and what kind of roos you have. Then the actual hatched chicks would be a surprise but give the recipient an idea if they were going to be banty, game, silkies, etc. Again sorry if I made anyone feel like I wanted to leave them out.

I'd be happy to be in it...all of mine are penned together for now, until the deep freeze of NJ is gone! I'm only getting 2 eggs/day right now too, so it may have to wait for a little bit for me...but I've got lots of cool young birds and they are doing the mating dances and all that includes now....

i kinda like the fact that when it hatches , and grows you get to guess what its parents were

it adds to the fun lol
