Anyone just feel like a failure sometimes?

I'm feeling it. I had a coyote attack take half of my chicken in one of my flock, my rooster thats been sick for the last moth really isn't getting much better, another one of my roosters is getting euthanized today for paralysis, one of my barn cats has an infected toe, one of my baby rabbits is having poopy butt problems and a respiratory infection, and two of my ducks have died in the last week. I wanna cry right now I feel like I just can't win anymore

I had this over last winter... seemed like a revolving door of chickens having to be treated in the house, and failing to treat them, and burying chickens, and more sick chickens again. It can get really demoralising. Though the main thing is that without you looking after them they wouldn't have a chance in hell. Even if you didn't succeed, you probably increased their quality of life for the last days. It's still worth it.

I’m so sorry you are going through this. It seems to all come at once. I’ve shed many a tear for similar reasons but you certainly have a lot going on. Brighter days are ahead. Hang in there and take time for yourself.
