Anyone Know anyone with QUAILITY Bantam or Standard Cochins

Tom Roebuck has about the best Cochins in the U.S. But he only sells older juveniles/young adults...the birds he's chosen not to keep. You either have to meet him at a show or have him ship them to you. At least that's what I've been told.

I've got some pretty nice Standard cochins that are just starting to lay again.. I can do a 6+ batch sometime this week or at a later time if you like $20 shipped I have a few pics on my web page but really need to get some updated ones. I have an awesome blue roo and a hen that are just now at laying age that are really nice!!

NOOOOOOOOOOO !!! WHY MUST HE SELL JUVENILES !! .. . . .. . well great, another little piece inside of me just died

I just sold my entire flock of show quality black Cochin Large Fowl. They looked like the ones in the first link you posted. I know that doesn't do you any good now - you should have said something earlier!

You should contact Tom through his website. I was only saying what I was told. It may very well not be the case...it's worth a try to contact him yourself.

I know for sure, though, that he doesn't sell hatching eggs...I tried that myself.

You know a pair might cost you more upfront but at least you know exactly what you're getting, the sexes, etc. With hatching eggs, there is a risk with shipping and then you have brood them for months until you can sex & evaluate each bird for it's potential as a breeder or show bird....I'm just saying.....
