I am pretty sure the the light grayish blue ones are Self Blue OEGB, am I right? But what color are the black and white ones? Silver Laced, Mottled or something else? What age would you guess these are, 6-7 weeks? Ignore the two mixed breed chicks that just wanted to be in the pic lol.

oegb=old english game bantam

the grayish ones are self blues. the others are silver laced, although technically that shouldn't be found in oegb. from what i've heard some folks took the straight comb sports from sebrights and started breeding them to oegb to make these.

Does anyone know if there is there a difference between an Old English Game Bantam and a Dutch Bantam, other than the name of course? The pics of each look very much alike.

The laced one looks more like a sebright than an oegb, what type of comb does it have?

The main differences between an oegb and a dutch are the dutch has white earlobes and is slightly smaller (by about 2-3 oz.). Also, a dutch does not have to be dubbed to show.

They have single combs. The black and white ones look just like the blue ones, only difference is the coloring.

Mottled?

The first one is not a mottled, it's silver laced.
The second is a self blue.
The third looks like a silver ginger.

Did you get them from Ideal?

No, I bought them from a Poultry auction for .90 cents each, so I don't know anything about them.

They are really sweet and seem healthy, so it was a great deal.

Thanks for the help

Wouldn't a Silver Ginger have some reddish coloring in it somewhere? Or is that more the way the coloring on the body is vs. the actual color?
