There is a Marek's blood test available and I think @seminolewind and/or @Nambroth have more info on that.

The dose according to Plumb's Veterinary Drug Handbook and my Avian vet is 125mg/kg twice a day.Careful folks. 10mg per kilo sufficient. Personally would not go past 20mg.
This is often done if infection is severe. Double dose for three days then normal thereafter.

Chickens often get way more per kg that other animals and people. That to me is scary Kathy. That is equivalent to giving a human of 75 kilograms proportionate to a chook of 3 kilograms 62.5 grams per day. Obviously absorption should be allowed for.
This for me is the cause of superbugs. It filters down the food chain and thus immunoresistance is apparent.
Quite shocked tbh. :/
Not a vet, but do know for a fact that the effective fenbendazole dose in cows is 5mg/kg *once* and 10-50mg/kg in chickens for *several* days.Absolute rubbish. Human maximum absorption is 49%. Average 39%. Chook average estimate is in the order of 63%.
Are you a Vet by chance?
