Anyone know what breeds come in bantam assortment at tractor supply?

I got 3 assorted bantams. They all have feathery legs; one more than the others. I thought this was a baby thing and they would lose the leg fuzz. What might they be? They are kinda brownish with a dark dot on each upper wing.

Or D'uccles, especially if their feet look like big clodhoppers covered in feathers. Come to think of it, as adults, their heavily feathered feet still look large.

I bought 6 Rhode Island Reds but one died 4 days later and she was my favorite she was beautiful she'd let you hold her all day long and would jump in my hand as soon as opened the pen then I got three Bantam's they have black feathery legs. What type are they?

Same thing happened to me... Got this little one at TSC in a bin labeled assorted bantam... Does anyone know the breed?? Its tiny

I'm a first time chick mom and i bought 4 chicks from TSC in the "Bantam" bin... I asked the man handling them if he had any silkies, he told me they are usually the first to go and he only had a few left... I really had my heart set on a white silkie and they only had one left. So I got her and I let my husband pick three more. They all have feathered feet, so I'm assuming I got silkies. I'm new to the bantam world, as a child I grew up on a chicken farm full of Rhode Island Reds, Plymouths and Orphingtons. So I sure hope their silkies because they look like any other chick besides the feathered feet... either way I've bonded with them and wouldn't change anything.

Correction!!!!!

The man who told me had silkies and it turns out that out of the four I payed for I only got one silkie and three mixed breeds.

The silkie is puffy and has 5 toes...
The other three are different looking and have four toes...
I returned my other three and went to another establishment to buy legitimate silky chicks....

I was told the same thing. I am at tractor supply weekly and so one lady carried me in the back they had 10 bantams plus some big chicks with pasty to the hilt. I brought home the 10 bantams. She told me the ones with feathers on there feet were all silkies. Well nope. #1 they all frizzled which was so cute. Then one has already developed a cone. 3 are a pretty lavender no feathers on the feet. Ones of thems feathers is starting to develop a pattern. So I have no idea.
I got mystery chicks and 2 silkies at mine and mine now has the fences and a sign that basically says they aren't responsible for poultry after it leaves the store I bet someone has tried to get a refund on chicks
I was told by an employee of one location they are having to hold them up to 48 hours b4 they put them on the floor because some came in with more than pasty butt. Thet were really sick
