These things can occur in hatchery birds. Doesn't make them any less stunning.

He's great. Out of 30 chicks he was the tamest. When they were able to fly he would always fly up and get as close to me as he could. Named him Braveheart when he was a chick

Not at all surprised to hear it. Ginger Reds are known to be highly good-natured.

My own flew on me as a chick, also, and still continues to as a grown rooster.

I think i found out what he is. Gold Buttercup. It's the hatcheries breed they made. I believe they crossed ginger reds with Crele or something

This is ginger red. If I had to guess, I'd say they maybe crossed ginger with brown red.

The hatchery makes its own breed and i think its their breed. Definitely ginger red in it lol
