They’re probably ISA Browns. I live in MA too and the only red sex links I have ever seen at our TSC have been ISA Browns. Although of course I don’t know what the other stores carry or if it’s like that in the whole state or whatever.

They call them 'sex linked' because the color that they are when they hatch is linked to what gender they are.
With this kind, the females hatch red, the males hatch white.

They look like production red to me. Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire red cross and not sex-linked.
