WOW, what a ride this evening was. I got pics and vids of some GORGEOUS skies just before sunset, including one of the most beautiful rainbows I've ever seen (pics don't do it justice at all.)

I'll post the pics now then I'll upload the video to youtube so y'all can see all of the rainbow and hear the wind -- and my big mouthed Pomeranian, Mitzi, in the background.

No, thanks. We had two people drown today in my county because of flooding. I wish it would not rain for two weeks!

Went outside a little while ago to lock the chickens up and couldn't believe it - the moon and stars were out and not a cloud in the sky!

How long will it last though, that's the question.

Our county is under a wind advisory...a couple of counties above us are under a winter storm warning...yikes. The wind has been the worst today that I have seen in a long time....besides Hurricane Hugo.
