anyone notice anything different at Wal-mart (LONG RANT)

You said it! Their garbage policies and training make for hellish experiences for customers.
A Walmart clerk once THREW my bagged purchases at me because she didn't like that my son (then, age 9) was touching the conveyer belt. I was writing a check & just didn't notice...
A few years later, I gave them a second chance. I was out of state on business - took my car in for an oil change. They DRAINED MY TRANSMISSION by mistake! They sent a district manager out to "make it right" which included getting my car looked at by a transmission shop and paying for an extra night's lodging. This district manager griped that to me that I had ruined his weekend with his son(!) He paid in cash as not to leave a paper trail and he shorted the hotel. Scummy, scummy, scummy!

My sister worked for Walmart for 3 yrs and she never had a problem and if she did she spoke up about it. But, I have noticed quite a few things have changed...the size of the cat litter has shrunk and gone up in price and the size of the cat food has also shrunk and gone up in price but I can still find good deals there better than other places locally and online.

I don't like Kmart, they're prices are always $2-$3 more than at Walmart and Target just doesn't have the variety, thats even with the Super Targets...I'll stick to Walmart though I don't like they're politics or China products but theres no way I could boycott them...its nearly impossible.
