Anyone raise pheasants for meat?

Just wondering if anyone here raises pheasants for meat? If so, are the economical? I've always wanted pheasants, and if they can be raised for meat fairly easily then i'll have to try it out.

A few do.They mature at 16 weeks so that should be a plus.They don't eat very much like chickens or ducks.Ringnecks are you best bet for meat.

Which ring necks? The normal or the larger breed?
