Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

I'm off to the grocery store too. That and getting the Christmas stuff back into the attic are my goals today. I want to get in several short walks too. I think my knees handle that better.

Guys, I tried dusting off my sparkpeople account, and I got logged in, but couldn't enter any of the food I ate. Any suggestions? I've changed browsers, but I've allowed Sparkpeople cookies. I tried 3 or four times and each time it had said I entered the food but it did not show up on the log.

Please help.

I completely understand where you're at. I remember being there. Good for you for pushing through the cramps. And taking your lunch with you - what great planning! Good job.

I don't know. I always use fitday.com so I don't know how sparkpeople works. Maybe their server is down?

I just got back from the grocery store. We're having cod for dinner. I'll have to figure out what to do with it.

Short walks add up to a lot of activity without a lot of problem on your joints - so that's a great plan. I have to figure out when I'm gonna walk the dog. Maybe I should do two shorter walks. That might be better. Thanks for the reminder.

I like getting organized too. Makes me feel good about my life.

10 glasses of water!!??? I've had two today and am still trying to force myself to drink more. Looks like were somewhat off to the same start (with the exception of the water of course). Had me some eggs, extra whites

It's hard to go out and not just grab something...I did that yesterday

I'm better at packing stuff to go in the summer, I don't know why I get so lax in the winter. Everyone is being so good....I won't cave in though. I think we have to realize that this isn't going to be a week long event....it's gonna take a while. That's good, I'm in good company!!

Nope, didn't make it to the grocery store today. I managed to scrounge up a tuna sandwich, chips, and nutter butters for lunch. Shephard's Pie for dinner.

Not exactly diet food, but that's what's laying around. Grocery store tonight after DH gets home so I don't have to drag the baby with me.
