Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

Everyone's doing so well. Very inspirational!

I had lunch at DH's work today - kept it very light. Took the dog for a walk too. Did some shopping at 4 different places looking for canning jars so that was a bit of walking too. Yay.
 
My lunch today was my monthly indulgence: Burger with cheese and onion rings. I do that SOOO rarely, and today it was a treat. I really don't miss it much and when I thought about it today, it has been at least three months since I had that. I enjoyed it. Then I felt like I was missing something. My green beans? My salad with all them awesome ingredients? A cookie? Back to what I really really enjoy that is healthy tomorrow.

Have I mentioned that I could never see another carrot in my life and be happy? GIMME GREEN!!!

Yesterday I made my 10,000 steps. I did it in little batches, and my knees aren't complaining too much. I had a glass of red wine too. It is only about 20 calories an ounce, surprisingly enough. Totally empty calories, but well worth it. I even measured my wine serving. I'm off to my kiddo's school soon, and 2000 more steps for the day. I'm feeling nervous about the weigh in.

Hey - wine is good for you. Resveretol and all those antioxidants and stuff.​
 
Had lunch with my boss today at Moe's (twice a month meeting) and had a burrito and chips. What else do you eat at a burrito shop?

Made up for it at dinner though...made chicken (not fried), yellow rice, and corn. Also made garlic bread with fat free butter and spices that I have.

The other day DH made a giant salad that should last for days. Night before last he baked up some chicken breast and threw it in there. Yum!

Last night he had a couple beers and was feeling "kitchen creative" and made perogie's from scratch.(potato & cheddar/ potato & sauerkraut) tons of butter in both

Gotta luv him...he's the best cook I know but I think I should only eat what he makes when he's sober......

I have started eating soups for lunch. It fills me up and is one set calorie count. I am also weaning myself back down to one pop a day- boy has that sneaked into a lot more than I intended. I am still giving myself some wiggle room for sweets otherwise I will break.

Just saw a show on Wednesday that talked about how eating an apple BEFORE lunch (or dinner) works great on reducing food intake. So simple. When eating out, eating a salad or soup before a meal helps a lot too.

Well I am a little short woman so when I put a little weight on it shows soooooooooo much!!!!!!!! I am still in Stones so forgive me I find it hard to work it all out your way?
I am 10 Stone 10 That is after the christmas pig out!!!! I was 12 stone and lost a lot of weight when I had a big cancer scare. I have kept much of it off but as I am only 5 foot tall I still need to lose a lot!!!!!

Hubby is the worst cause he is always buying cream buns and stuff and then he wants me to eat them of course and I don;t want to offend him so I do!!!! Sometimes I have made myself sick just to get rid of yuky sweet overloads!! Though I try to explain myself to hubby he just doesn;t HEAR ME!!!!!!!! Does anyone else struggle like this???

I want to be 8 and a half stone!!!!!!! So I can go buy nice clothes and look good in them!!! I want to do my coat up over a cardigan and know it will FIT ME!!!!!!
I can;t excersize much because I have Fibromyalga and am in a lot of pain particularly when the cold weather is hear so I struggle a bit!

Really want to join you all and hope you guys can help to prompt me to do the right thing!!!!!
Today I have eaten
One Piece of toast for breakfast with bitter and jam on it.
For Lunch I had Toast with butter on and an egg. After that I had a Yogurt
SO far I have had about 6 cups of coffee as its freezing here.

I am not sure what is going to be for Dinner tonight
Maybe Liver or Salmon?
