One I know of that is pretty easy to start with is to sit straight and suck in your belly and hold. Just tighten the muscles and hold it for a count of ten. Do that ten times, and you'll feel it, especially when you start out. It sounds 'too easy' but it's actually effective in getting the muscles activated. So if you don't know where to start, start there.
