Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

I found two excellent things tonight at the store:

A taco/fajita 'wet' sauce in a packet. NOT terribly high sodium. its basically ground up sundried tomatoes and chilis with a little bit of vineager. it was super. wish i had the name of it now. I made tiny tacos. we are a house where 3 soft tacos can get eaten in a sitting no problem. I ate 3 of the small (thin, maybe 4" diamater)tortillas and we each had a chopped breast. I DID cave and eat a handful of tostitos. All in all it was an ok food day around here.

they are tasty and "OK" in terms of my goals. I'm basically a sugar addict.
 
Oooh... we LOVE Annie's bunny snacks here. They have many other cookies, and crackers to chose from. Better then the goldfish crackers as they are healthier and still taste awesome.

I'm about to have a salad with some fat free croutons and 2 oz of left over chicken breast. With some oil & vinegar dressing. Yum!
 
Everyone sounds like they are doing really well and eating all the right things.
I am dreading Saterday weigh in!!!!! I don;t want to have not lost any weight again this week as that would be a total desaster.
I am not doing too well though and I know I will need to do better and excersize some to catch up with everyone else!!!!

We went out for Mexican food last night. I ate way too many chips, enchiladas, beans and rice. I don't think that is going to do the ol' cholesterol lowering much good. But today has been better. Back on the low fat food, except for the two eggs, yum!
 
mom's folly: eggs are actually pretty healthy. remember that they were a major source of protein for thousands of years and few people (until recently) worried about their fat or cholesterol!

i have lost about 80 pounds and have another 50-60 to go. i do best with low-carb, and my girls' eggs are the best source (and cheapest) that I have.

I eat eggs almost every day. I'll scramble a whole egg with 3 egg whites and season them with Mojo. If I've been pretty good throughout the day I'll even put cheese on top.

I have no problem with my cholesterol. Years ago my sis was a vegetarian . . . one of those that don't eat vegetables. She mostly ate eggs and quesadillas. She had her cholesterol
checked and the doctor told her he had never seen anyone with such low cholesterol before.

I tell ya, Sparkpeople is still really a major help to me. I put in what I'm planning to eat for the day then I tweak it so that I'm getting plenty of protein. It's a great tool! I still haven't
started exercising yet. Maybe I can get DH to help me move the treadmill from the garage to the house so I can watch my favorite programs in the evening and walk it off.
 
I have a 2 egg omelette every morning for breakfast, no cholesterol issues here either.

Smoked Mackerel salad for dinner tonight and sugar free jelly for dessert. Feeling good and righteous.
