This may have already been said, but P90X has given our family great results in losing weight and getting fit.

I absolutely refuse to admit I am old since I currently have two jihads fat, and age!!!

I also have no idea how to even turn it on my husband Gary is my I.T. person, he sets it up and tell me which button to push. I don't play it or the other one he got that doesn't require a controller much, (I'm not much of a video game person) but I have to admit they are alot more fun then the old style games.

We have the wii and the exercise ones... but I like the lego wii games more.

Now if they would give me a wii sword, and let me fight like a real pirate, I'd get more exercise!

Just using the balance board for balance control seems to be a big work out for me... with out working.
I have awful balance, so I really have to concentrate and work at it... and it's still awful.
but anything you do is more than not doing it. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.
I spent several hours at the sink cleaning vegetables from the garden yesterday. My legs hurt so badly last night I wasn't sure I would get to sleep. But Then I realize that holding myself up is a lot of work too.
and the more weight I lose, the less work it will be.

Ok - my resolve to get fit and eat better is really not going well for me at all..

Dh and My DSIL cath are now as we talk making Wine - Wine with bag loads of sugar!!!!!!!!!!! OOOOOO yeah I know I am just as excited when I run into the kitchen like a big kid and watch the bubbles comming out of the top of the demijohns! But my waistline is screaming!!! Oh and were also making jam too - JAM WITH LOADS AND LOADS OF SUGAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Kassandra what were you saying about "reasoning with my kinfolk!!!!" I guess is doesn;t help that I am excited about the prospect of creating our own wine and also DSIL is going to try selling pots of presserves at the local car boots - so I can;t complain especially as she wants me to come help and bring hens eggs to sell for feed money!
(Feed just went up again and I got the whole cost affective speel from big sis!)
She is also - this is the real bad bit - going to take her cake making supplies and do sugar flowers to sell ( Is that not encouraging DH or what!!!! Apples don;t fall far from the tree do they!!! )

I just hope we don;t eat all the profits!!!!!! - maybe I sould just start a how to get fat quick thread?????
