I think I will try to be more aware of the belly thnig going on!!!! - I had 4 kids in 3 and a half years! Twins in the middle where my stomach stretched so much that my belly was out to me knees and I still only got to 26 weeks! I also had major surgery on my stomach so now that I am doing the over 40 thing - the baby belly bag is a real issue when one wants to get a nice frock etc! Recently I have thought I felt some muscle tone in the belly and some days I wake up and it OMG near flat - but soon as its lunchtime the whole thing swells up like a barrarge balloon and I look as if I am about to give birth again!
Recently I have been doing the pull it in over the washing up and pull the bum as well!!! - I know don;t laugh but I am not able for all the big excersizes and voga and all that!!! So I am interested in your abs girl bottom line! I mean I can;t be dragging this old baby bag round with me forever!!!!

Your belly swelling after eating is not a weight problem it is a medical problem and not normal. That indicates you are eating food/s that at the very least you are having trouble digesting, and could actually be sensitive or allergic to. It puts your whole body in a state of inflamation making you sick, and feel like crap. You need to find out what foods you are reacting to and eliminate them. I lived w/ abd issues for years and wouldn't go back for all the "forbidden" to me foods in the world, the difference in how you feel is remarkable, not having to have 3 sets of clothes, (normal, a little swollen, 6 months preggo)
Soooooooooooooooo true! I lack an enzyme that I need to break down red meats. If a steak was WELL done or a burger I could break it down, but still have swelling in my stomach and discomfort. Under cooked meat would leave me feeling 100lbs heavier for days! I stopped eating red meat and pork when I was 15 I couldn't take it anymore. So its just not part of my diet.
Kass, I'm so happy to see someone else doing yoga with me
I think its more then just exercise and I love it! Puts me into this zone while I'm doing it and it just helps melt away stress from my shoulders and back where I store it in my muscles. Its not just physical, but mental exercise as well.
Annaraven, I'm so sorry to hear you've been down and out. I have the stomach thing not too long ago and dropped 5 lbs in 4 days. Not good.
