Yes but it is really hard to Karl - I find the few minuites before is the worst!!! - Deciding to do it! Once I actual get the old boots on and the lead on the dog I am fine!!!! But I really suffer if I walk too far. The next day I am crippled with pain in my knees and hips. - thats what I don;t like! So I have been doing little bits and hoping I wont get problems. I have been doing little steps and so far its been ok. Walked the Dogs this morning which pleased them but my knees ache now. So we will see how that works out tomorrow!!!!

THe best bit recently is finding I have stomach muscles again!!

I have lost 15 POUNDS in 17 Days!

I had to cheat a few days even, due to a school picnic, potluck dinner, etc. I have more energy than I have had in a long time, my clothes fit better, and I am eating healthier than I ever have!

Lots of yogurt, salmon, tilapia, fruit, eggs, and green veggies!

that is wonderful! 15 ponds is a lot. and you are not exhausted? a pound a day, about. Wow.

Of course, I have only lost five pounds since I started... the same five, over and over again.
I lost the first 11 very quickly, but had no energy to fight off an ailment and gained it back. I am going slower now.

I have excellent news for me... I finally broke the 150 mark and have been holding at 149, finally weighed in at 148 this morning and I'm THRILLED! Only 8 lbs to goal, and though I've gone slowly, I've had no gaining and I feel great. My routine is normal, and I'm not on a strict diet and eating what I like, cheating now and then... I chose the healthier options when I can. I feel like I am in a good place with my weight loss and very proud for sticking to this and not running to ice cream when I'm upset.

Woo Hooo congrats baby, and vfem!!!!!!!!

I had a slight miss hap at work yesterday dropped a cardiac monitor on my legs just above my knees twice!!!!! Kept them iced all evening, the swelling is down, and it isn't so painful now, still black (will be for a while) got some DEEP bruises, but I don't think there is any structural damage.

I haven't posted in a while... I've managed to cut out about 8# last month... My heaviest was 152# last year, I lost the first 10 without trying very hard, then leveled off. I'm now at 134 # down from 142# when I first started trying harder to loose weight (end of may). I've droped from size 10 jean to a 6! I have 8# more to lose to hit my goal of 125#. I'd really like to lose it by the first week of july as I'm doing a special gift for my DH for our 15th anniversary, and takeing a long weekend trip to Florida end of July.

I no longer drink pop or caffinated drinks
No candy, chips or munchies
No adult beverages
No processed foods if I can avoid it
No butter or oil cooked foods, condiments, dressing etc
lots of veggies and fruits and water
steak or chicken or fish
I love almonds too but one serving (23 seeds) is 164 calories! (they seem binding as well)
small portions and about 5 meals a day

I use this website to help track calories - http://www.calorieking.com/foods/search.php?keywords=&showresults=yes

I'm trying to only consume 600-700 calories a day so I track everything I eat.

At work, I take a brisk 30 min walk everyday. I still find it hard to hit the tread mill or weights once I get home with all the chores that have to be done.

Congratulations to everyone who's lost weight so far!
