my duck had that same thing and i had given it antibiotics, seperated it from my others and gave it epson salt water soaks a few times a day mine strill has a little swollen spot but has been getting around so i think its sprained really bad but if it gets hot definitely need antibiotics and i also fed mine a lot of protein because after a few weeks he was losing weight from not eating

@barbie74976 I think if I had caught this a month ago it might have been something to fix without major surgery, but hey, this is part of learning how to tend animals.
