My desperately broody gal just sat for 23 days to no avail. I think the fertilized eggs we were gifted were damaged. I need to get this lady some babies ASAP! Thank you! Angela

Have you called any of your local feed stores? They are often loaded with chicks this time of year.... Most will be at least 2-3 days old when they arrive. 6 days old is my oldest successful adoption and evening time is suggested for them under.

Looks like we have ONE survivor of our 9 egg clutch. Wow...this is new to me. We may see if this jolts her out of her broodiness and call it good! We need a new coop anyway. Thank you for your help.
