Started 25 Araucana eggs on Aug 28. Hoping for success.
Anyone set any eggs today? I need a buddy!! Aug. 27th-30th!!!

I stuck a dozen and a half eggs into the HovaBator styro on the 28th. Hope we all have great hatches!
I put my 6 shipped eggs in the bator yesterday afternoon. I'm doing the weight loss method to make sure my humidity is were it needs to be. This is only about the 2nd time using this new incubator and still working out the best settings for it. Got a good hatch out of it last time but they all turned out to be roos. Don't think that was the bators fault, just my luck.

Is your silkie having any trouble covering all of them since they are large eggs? Silkie's are really good broodies. I have several of mine at the moment that are broody but I won't be using them this time. The post office was a bit rough on my box and the 3 extra eggs got cracked. My Brinsea only holds 7 eggs, so no extras this time to give to the broodies. They'll have to wait till next year.

No she isn't having any trouble!! But seriously these eggs are bigger than the ones we get at the store!!
