I'm on day 2 today, first timer

I just put 40 OEGB in the incubator today, 37 Wheaten, and 3 Creles. Hope everyone has a good hatch.

Me too! I set about 70 eggs including frizzle bantam polish, blue bantam cochins, millie F. D., fun frizzle mix,welsommers and delawears! I can't wait for these to hatch! This is my second time.

Now for the wait!

I bought 6+ partridge cochin hatching eggs from a gentleman in Fl. Henrietta, my BO, went broody and is sitting on them as we speak.

I just put in 14 cuckoo marans and 8 polish was post to be 13 but I nocked the egg carton over and busted 5

and probably ruined the others.

I guess I will find out in week when I candled them.

That is a total bummer!!!

One of my golden cuckoo maran's came with what looked like a tiny finger print into it, cracks and all. I poured wax over it and hope it makes it. Nothing was leaking out, hopefully the membrane wasn't broken!!​

awesome everyone! just discovered my RIR is broody again, she hatched 4 out of 9 last year at this time. Im going to try to give her 10 tomorrow and move her to the broody box. Shes a good mom so Im hoping for at least 4 again this year. they are RIR, EE and RIR x EE hens and RIR rooster and RIR x EE rooster. So this hatch will be like a box of chocolates...... LOL
