anyone setting eggs right now (4-17)HATCHING! pt.32

I just set up the incubator last night and put in one RIR egg from my neighbor's flock (hen is purebred and roo is 1/2 RIR/BO), half a dozen green eggs from my two black hens, 2 or 3 GLW eggs, 2 duck eggs, adding banty green/blue eggs from my blue hen (her mama & aunt are my full sized black hens, her daddy a banty), and a few BO eggs. It took me many tries/failings last season to figure out this very large incubator and I still do not know how to do the auto-turner but now know how to regulate the heat

Late last season my two broody BO hens raised some very nice BO and BO/RIR chicks and I've got six of those pullets (3 of each) so I wasn't going to add/hatch more...except I do love my green eggs and want more GLW's now that I only have one hen and one roo. I'd also like a son from my BO roo that is purebred, I kept a RIR/BO roo son of his that I'm happy with. I love my BO roo!

went out this morning expecting to find maybe 1 chick, nooooooo.....at least 7 so far! I had to help one, the membrane was dried up so I dont know if she will make it but is looking good so far. Last year they were a day late but this year right on day 21. Have I think 7 eggs to go. anyone else?
