Anyone setting eggs starting July 15 -July 22?

OMG uncalled for. iIwould send them a photo of your box!!LIVE EGGS is big as anything on it.Yes and $70!! I would be sick too...Lets hope your 3 make it.Maybe they will and you can start your own but still...sickening.It IS crushed.

My english orps arrived today. Crushed so completely and thoroughly that only 3 eggs survived [2 of which were brahams that were extra bonus eggs...not even the english orps I paid for]

Completely gutted right now, not to mention out $70.

Embarrassing, but I sold my ipod so I could have these eggs and this is what happens. I'm so frustrated. I emailed the seller and told her that I know she's not responsible, but what should I do...I did just pay you $70 for these eggs.

I also called and threatened to sue the USPS in small claims court over loss and damages. We'll see if that gets me anywhere. It looks like my box was crushed. I will probably cry if I think about it any longer today. I'm so disappointed.

The eggs were individually wrapped in either bubble wrap or some kind of foam paper, they were stacked in the box [no carton] and there was a couple slices of newspaper.

The part that really irritates me is that for $70 I EXPECTED them to come in a carton....even my cheapie eggs came better wrapped than this.

I have a mirror in my brooder box too, but its just to convince my lone silkie that she
is not alone until I find her a buddy....she just stands in front of it and chirps at herself all day!
Sad and cute at the same time.

Wait until they are all nice and dry- you just don't want them to catch a chill.
About 8 - 12 hours... all depends on your time frame, they can stay over night or if they hatched early in the morning then you can take them out in the evening if you are concerned about your remaining eggs. You just want to be sure that they all get some water.
Water is the most important thing-- they'll figure out food on their own.

Thats what Midnight did and rush to me assoon as he saw me frantic!!HOop on my hand SAd!!!So Glad i had more coming and now hes not alone or iwould do what you did go 3 hours away to get a chick friend from Cackle!!!
WAS thinking would the dark one you have possibl y turn the color you want later?i dont know Silkies so dont know the paint color
