Anyone setting eggs starting July 15 -July 22?

Everything i know i read pretty much but i would guess you may be right about the sikies but i read if temp is low they are later and high earlier.On day21 temps right on.

I got 4 eggs left out of 32... Lock down for me is on the 3rd...

Silkymelon- my Silkie eggs defiantly looked like they were ahead of the LF eggs so ya, I think it's a breed thing to hatch a bit early.

I posted a little back that I am hatching my second hatch but only three eggs from a hen I recently lost.  I believe they are due to hatch Sun/Mon.  I wanted to know how to cut the egg cartons for that type of hatch.  My first hatch the eggs got so knocked around I would like to try this.  Dont the chicks know over the cartons when they come out of the egg??
Last of my Blue Lace Red Wyandottes so I really hope these hatch.  By the way...I keep getting different info., if I set on the 16th - at 12:15am, then when should I go into lockdown.  My first hatch was a bit weird so ?  Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!

I would go into lockdown on Aug. 3rd, at around 12:15am. You are nearly there. Good luck.

I am so frustrated...Looking for more eggs for my incubator.

I really, really, really want some SLW but all I can find are the bantams, everything else is just too expensive.

I candled this morning and so far I've only got 2 clear eggs and 1 that I'm not 100% sure of. I can't believe I lock down this weekend. So excited to see these babies.

From what I have read you would go into lockdown at 12:15am on the 3rd. Good luck. Mine go into lockdown Saturday night.

Whoo, that's good to know! I thought it was my fault!
My temp has been consistant at 99.5 degrees, so if anything I was expecting them to hatch later, not earlier! So you're right, it must be a breed thing!

Going strong a day 15 you guys. 3 more days till lockdown!

And Chick In The Burbs, I've been hearing lots of funny stories of your hen summer, do you have any pics of her? Just curious
