That is soso disappointing I know, Had it happen twice in a row! Feel like crying from frustration after waiting 3 weeks!!,monitoring the bator all the time .GEEZ.This morning I had four eggs and tonight I just threw out my last one. all of my eggs died, I got so excited painting my chicken house and getting everything ready but in the end its heart break

Wow Marty you are an old expert (old in chicken owning terms) as they say; lay some knowledge on us!!! WE wil llisten WELL!Oh, that can be so disappointing.Its so tough sometimes. Did they have spiders at a week, and only die recently? Many tips on what happend are based on when the eggs die.
Temp must be exact (I test my thermometer-calibrate), I have humidy gauge, I use a water weasil with a thermometer to tell me the temps inside my eggs, and I hand turn only the first week (but never the first few days). Even with all this, I probobly only got an average of 60% hatch from shipped eggs. ITs sooo irritating.
BTW, in case your wondering, I've been lurking and reading your thread all week.I hope I'm welcome, I've been hatching eggs for about 28 years now.
4 to 6 is all I would want. 12 is to many for me as I live in town. I try to keep my numbers small. The eggs that died yesterday were silkiesI think I have orders for the next 2 weeks, but I'd be happy to just send 4-6 to you after that. I also have some coturnix quail, I could give you the micro-quail-hatching-egg-assortment.

. BUt take what you have learned and try try again with a new approach.
Were your air sells too large or small? Are all the dead ones the same size.If thye are dead at different sizes CAN be from shipping if you had that. My one was.
Dead at the very end probably temp or humidity.My seoncd booboo/tryesddryhatch whicther liked and works not mine.
I am no EXPERT this is just what i have read while going thru this same thing myself before.
