I came home for lunch and I stuck my ear to the glass and I can hear some chirping. So excited and now I know that the long day of getting back up to temp yesterday didn't harm all of them.. I have something going on in there.

BTW my silkie just layed her egg this a.m. and I took it and she left.

and we cleaned the coop this afternoon.

it had an amonia (sp?) smell to it. but it didn't stink till we started shoveling

maybe I'll be more diligent in stirring this year.

hmm live and learn I guess.

Ah well, on the bright side thats like finding out your baby's due a week earlier than you thought

Also means you might have some rocking too, just not when you've been looking...

3 of mine are definitely rocking now, including the BCM

They do it particularly if I talk to them - try it!

Loopy I've been looking so much that there's nose prints on the glass. Their not moving.
