Anyone setting eggs tomorrow (13th March, EDD Apr 3rd)

I just got home from work and ran straight down to the bator and I have a pip. I also noticed that in my attemps to get the humidity up I have over filled the tray and gotten the bottom of my egg crate wet on one side. I hurried and opened it and layed the two eggs that were in the wet spot next to the tray. But now I see that two more are sitting in a wet spot. Should I just leave 'em or should I open it again and move them? Ohhh so stressful.

I would quickly move them out of the water if it were me.

We have a pip too!!! My girls just saw it and came and got me and sure enough, we do!!! Whooo hoooo! Let it begin!!!!

Congrats to those who have pips.

At this rate (and temp), it will be day 25 before I get anything. Im afraid to put them in the LG though. Stupid thing spiked to 104 the other day. TG nothing was in it!

Stumble: its a day old Pekin I'm holding, last year...they're pretty big really - i should post the picture of her 10 days later - they grow so quickly!
Are your duck eggs due to hatch at the same time as your silkie egg?
I have 7 pekins and 12 cayuga eggs in my other incubator - they're only on day 2 though.
Easy to lose your heart to a duckling. Will your broody bring them up with the chick? If so would love to see her face the first time the ducklings spot water and make a dash for it...

Raimnel: bet they move everytime you turn your back...

Christy: I'd move them too...but

on the pip...
Sounds like humidity might be too high anyway with the condensation, so probably ok to open very quickly...wipe off the condensation and move the eggs etc. Do you need to have them in the carton or could you just put them on the wire on their sides?
