Anyone setting eggs tomorrow (13th March, EDD Apr 3rd)

I begged my obstetrician weekly to get my daughter out - from about 34 weeks onwards...apparently I haven't learnt any patience since then either

I'm now just hoping for 4 chicks, eventually.
Funny how your expections fall as time goes on.
And they were almost all shipped eggs

Like I said I erred on the side of cooler temps to ward off the horror of a big killer spike, so part of me doesn't expect them for another day or two...
On the other hand my duck egg incubator is running a bit high. Ah well, its a learning process.

Show us some of those feathered legs... I love them

Here's chick #1!!! He is one of our own babies, with a black cochin bantam daddy and a white cochin banty mommy. We have 6 of these eggs and they should all be black, and we are pretty sure the mommy carries the frizzle gene, so it will be fun to see if any of them come out frizzle.

Also took a pic of pip #4 so you could all see how tiny the first pip can be:

Gosh, I leave for the day and come back to 4 new pages of posts!!

Im only on day 19. Im still working on the temp that decided to drop and never come back up.

Ive seen rocking before, but only really when they start to zip. I think Ive seen the shudder.

Congrats to those with pips and chicks. The new chickie is cute!

Yeah Loopy!!!! The party is just getting started at your place!!!

And christytrav!!! 7 pips! Party time!!!

Nothing new to report here, our one little chick is still trying to figure out how his feet work, between cheeping and sleeping. We have two pips about as big as Loopy's + the other tiny one. They are sure to start making progress as soon as we all go to bed!

Good luck everyone!!!
