Candled my eggs tonight

pulled 7 clear eggs, 3 scrambled - 4 maybe fertile maybe not could see a tiny clearish dot on 2.
so... the rest I will wait untill the 14 day to make a decision on. still makes you feel down 2 of these were the only mottled Bantum cochins in the bunch( the ones I wanted the most of course.

Thank you both, I'm just hopimg now for any pullets no matter the color

best to both of you on you temps and humidty problems, we are pretty dry here so unless it' raining our humidty is low.

Yes, they were shipped eggs, Maryland to Oregon, From BYC member- the mottled ones were Jamie Matts line. I will try shipping again just not that far if I can help it.

I am hoping my shipped eggs due well. They are coming from VA to Maryland so its a short trip. I hope that helps. I cannot see me beig a fan of shipped eggs if I get broken or scrambled eggs thats for sure because its like throwing money in the trash.

Guess what I just got today??????? UPS just delivered my Brinsea!!!

I candled my Barnevelder eggs on day 10, out of 12, 5 had nothing so infertile and 1 had a blood ring. That leaves me with 6, of those, 1 does not look quite like the others. The other odd thing about this as opposed to the first set I had, is I can see through the egg shell with a light. My first set I could not see really well but these I can. Why would that be?

Hello everyone

, I candled last night. After candling on Saturday I originally thought I had 7 good ones and 11 questionable. But after last night I found 2 more good ones

and 5 questionable. I'm glad I didn't throw any away. The ones that were questionable were brown eggs and were so hard to see into.
Last night, I found an egg that blew up and got on the egg next to it so those were gonners and I found 2 more that were not fertile.
Today is day 11. 6 more days til lock down.
