Dang Turkeys taking longer! I love looking at all the successes!

I think I only have 2 (out of 7) that are going to hatch. I should have removed the others, but I am too "chicken" thinking I may accidentally kill something that is still viable. So they are all in there waiting for lockdown.

I have been passing the time by working on our coop. I run back and forth to check bator. I design and paint, DH does the rest bless him.​

Uh Oh !!! I was so excited to finaly see something happen! at around 3pm today (day 22) one egg showed a tiny crack, but its in the wrong end of the egg!!!! its chirping loud about every 45 mins. This is what it looks like now...almost 5 hours later.

This is definately not good since its in the wrong end. do you think it has a chance??? all other eggs are still not showing any signs of life

Petunias, good luck on your little baby. Chickenfeverforever also good luck on yours, I hope you will see something soon. Please give at least till the 23rd. Cattitude and MikeS I think I have either the black mottle cochin or the mix between cochin/silkie, I have one black baby with the fethered feet but only 4 toes on each. I have 5 babies so far out of 11, the rest I added a day to 3 days later so I will have to wait a little longer on those.

The large one on the left rear is the EE

So far I have 11 hatched: 1 purebred Silkie, 2 purebred Ameraucana, and 8 Silkie-X. All are adorable!

Good luck on everyones hatches! Hope you all get beautiful babies. As for me I already cleaned out the bator and have 38 eggs set and will add 4 eggs I get from my chickens tomorrow to fill the egg turner. 19 are shipped eggs (mostly bantam) and the rest are mine. Good luck guys!
