Local codes may soon allow me to have a few more chickens. I don't want to raise chicks. And I'd love to know what color eggs will be laid by any new pullets that I get. I'm hoping for layers that will give me eggs that are truly blue, and truly pink. I've already got two EE's; one gives me a pale, pale, bare-hint-of-blue egg, and the other a pale, pale, bare-hint-of-mint-green egg.
( I also have a Black Marans that gives me a nice medium brown egg.) But I want to gather eggs that look really blue, and eggs that are truly pink.
Anyone have any such "girls" to ship to me in New York in the soon-to-arrive cool autumn months?
