Anyone sick of winter?

I’m soooo ready for Spring. Although it’s mild here today, we still have a lot of snow and ice.

Duckies’ pond is solidly frozen so I’ve been lugging 20+ gallons of water daily from my basement to their house and kiddie pool.

Thinking of getting a heated hose...they’re kinda pricey though. Has anyone tried using one of these?

i havent used a heated hose, But what i have seen was a box built around the spigot that fits a hose reel with a light bulb inside, The lightbulb keeps the hose warm, if your handy you could make it look fairly nice

I haven’t tried a heated hose, in fact I didn’t know that they exist! I’m also water lugger-er. My favorite thing to do is to trip and spill the water all over myself right before leaving for work. I’m darn good at that! :he

I am so done with bad weather and frost too! This week and next week we won't be too cold, but it is raining on and off since last week's Tuesday and the area around our house is one huge mud-pit. Even the ducks are done by the end of the day and just want to go inside to dry out. Spring is not forecasted before Mid March here…😭
My yard is also one big mud pit...the duckies love it! So does my fluffy dog. Arrrgh.

I'm sick of winter too but being real the winters are just getting progressively warmer. Our average temperature this winter has been REALLY high (well, you're in Ohio, you should know) and it's been nothing but mud all winter long. I'm worried the things that need the deeper freezes to die off properly like parasites and insects won't.

I'm looking forward to spring. But I wish we'd gotten a good, healthy, cold winter.

This was a surprisingly good prediction. I shouldn't be surprised, it's science after all, but the climate scientists hit the nail on the head this year.
