Anyone sick of winter?

My yard is also one big mud pit...the duckies love it! So does my fluffy dog. Arrrgh.

Tell me about it! - We should start a contest: Who has the deepest mud around the house?
My mud pit is ~2" deep and it makes sucking noises when i walk through it.

Last year it was still snowing at the beginning of May. This year has been better, today was 30 degrees, but we've had a lot of snow and its been pretty chilly.

Here in Western NC we’ve had the weirdest winter I can remember. We started out in Nov very frigid then went into Dec warmer than normal the had frigid again In Jan very short lived. So far Feb has been nice temp wise. It really does mess one up though it’s like being on a weather roller coaster. My birds stay soggy. Only snow so far are only dusting maybe 4 so far. But you know this has gone on since the world began, climate change that is remember ice age

Tomorrow's wind chills are predicted to be around -20 F with snow and ice. The only signs of spring so far is the cardinals singing their spring song and that my ducks are slowly turning black from all the mud digging.

Did you also had so much rain? - Had all that rain been snow, we would be buried under a glacier by now! - And the next round of rain is already on its way for next week. Fortunately there will be some sun over the weekend!
