Anyone still have their Christmas tree up?

Hate to admit it, but, yup, it's still up and it's not an artificial one and we put it up right after Thanksgiving. We were going to take it down the weekend of the 5th/6th, but then were without power for five days and it was storming and it was just too cold in that room to go in there. Last weekend we went to the Stockton Poultry show and then worked all day Sunday on the barn, so now here it is the 14th and the tree's still up. Hopefully tonight we'll take it down. However, I must say this is not the latest I've left my tree up. One year it was up until March!

I'd say a chicken show definitely takes priority over taking the tree down!!
I've told this story before so my apologies if it's a repeat. One year my SIL was miffed that she hadn't had any help putting the tree up so she refused to take it down until she had assistance. Neither of her kids, nor her husband ever came through so the tree stayed up all year. (It was artificial.)

ours is artificial and is still up. outdoor decorations are still up but we have not been plugging them in. weather man is predicting snow here for the end of the week. if it does actually snow i'll probably plug the lights in and pretend that its a white Christmas.

I am SO glad I'm not alone!!! I keep telling myself I have an excuse: single mom, home w/4yr old, managing a farm, trying to earn some income........ Now I see that I don't need an excuse other than the fact that I have chickens!

lol is this something that could be tied in with chickens..
or this might make a good reneck joke. jk everybody dont get mad.

At least I'm not alone either! I taking stuff down to the shed and realized the little artificial tree was still in the living room so I grabbed it and off it went. That was before I saw this thread, but I'm still guilty because technically the tree was up this morning.
