Anyone tired of snow?

My yard still has at least a foot of snow in it! I have a nice mud path going to the chickens...and if my crocus' were coming up along the house, I imagine the chickens have already eaten them!

I woke up to big, fat, lake effect snowflakes yesterday morning. I rushed outside to get some firewood out of our carriage house/barn. (The door gets stuck when it gets really cold and then we can't get any out!)

About 30 minutes after I had gotten the wood out, the snow stopped. It has been really sunny today and I'm grateful for that. However, if I had known that the weather was going to get nicer, I wouldn't have bothered with getting more firewood!

I'm so tired of winter!! It was almost 60 last Friday, and now we're back to the 30's. snow has almost all melted, but now every thing is so muddy!! Hate it!! I want spring...at least some sun!

I'm growing weary of snow too...the robins are back and the easter lilies are wanting to bloom...I went into town 16 miles away today...driving along all you saw in the mountains was snow...

My poor henhouse needs a good cleaning and I have a broody hen that I know has chicks to peep out at me...would be nice to let her forage with them..... Oh Happy Spring where are you!!....

I don't do mud at all!!... yuck!

Hello Uxbridge MA ! You'll thaw before we do in Maine lol! Last year when I still lived in MA I
had peas planted by the first week of April. I think we'll still have froze ground until May this year in ME!

Snow? What snow? I thought we were in the midst of global warming?! That white stuff in your yard and all over mine are just a figments of our imaginations!

*The only white stuff in my yard is the 50 pound of kitty litter I put down to help hold some moisture for the grass against the drought. . . It hit 91 degrees here yesterday. . Broke a record. . .
