Anyone tried this Automatic Coop Door closer?

Yeah, I like chicken TV too. But I cant' tell you how embarrassing it is to cut out early on a date because I "have to drive home to lock up the chickens, so the fox won't get them."

Then again, the guy who offers to help, may be the one for me!

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I'm not that coordinated either, and it might be worth getting the door so everything works together properly. I've never purchased anything to be shipped from England but the company that sells them, said the ship to the U.S. (chicken-house.co.uk) With the low British pound, I may look into whether it's cheaper to ship directly from there!

AH this is probably the coolest thing that I have ever seen!
I HAVE to add this into my new coop design!
Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you!

OK, has anyone ever shipped from England to the U.S. before?

The exact same auto shut door costs $220 from England versus $360 from the other side of Pennsylvania! (that includes all shipping costs, and the international shipping arrives in 3 weeks, which is fine).

That's a significant difference.

Nifty, I skimmed through part of the posts because I love the idea of paying $20, but.... it may seem simple to you, but my eyes glaze over with all the tech-talk. You might as well be speaking Chinese for all I understand ANY of the items and methods you refer to. I have no idea how to do any of that stuff! I wish I had my old engineer boyfriend back right now, if only for a day!

We ordered one from Wells in the UK. I think it came the next week. We've had longer waits for things we've ordered right here in the states. I was pleasantly surprised. It seems like a nice company.
