I have a 6 wk old Swedish, Daisy, who is developing angel wing on one side. She's is developmentally "slow" and seems to have some nerological problems. She is still a bit shaky on her feet and has occassional spasms (had one really bad seziure at 3-4wks old and I thought she was gone .) She has been doing much better since she's been outside but does not forage much & refuses any type of snack including the all time favorite PEAS. I have the ducks on Purenia Flock Raiser. She will drink water but only recently decided that dipping her head in the water was O.K. She won't swim and doesn't like standing in water.
I tried using vet tape and taping her but that was a bust. After her squirming, honking and squeeling as if I was murdering her and the tape getting all twisted and snarled up..... I gave up. I started thinking that a "body stocking" that was lightweight yet stretchy might do the trick. Just slip it over her head, be sure its snug enough ,etc. & would hold down her wing. What'cha all think? Doable?
