My DH also told me that the Jeep egg hatched but there wasn't a Jeep in it.

Hi all!

Apparently I missed this thread somehow, but I also set eggs on Valentine's day!

I just finished with getting them into lockdown... 9 EE's and 2 BBS Rocks made it to lockdown. I am FREAKING OUT

because this is my first hatch. I know that at least some of them are alive - they were moving. The rest all had good veins. There was one quitter that I had to get rid of... had died earlier judging by the size of it / space left in the egg. I did dry incubation in a still air LG, and now my temps are not going quite back up to normal... I inched it up a little, but I may back it down again... better to be a bit too low than to fry them all at this stage!!! I hope it all goes well, and I have NO IDEA what I will do if one pips but doesn't zip, etc... I am tempted to not look in there again until Tuesday! LOL Good luck to everyone!!!

PIP!!! We have a bantie PIP! Knocked the chip clear outta the carton! He is an overachiever for sure! Hope to see him when I wake up! Goin on a trail ride tomorrow to stay away from the bator!!!

Congrats and welcome to the thread... just get your temp as close to 100 as possible and keep your humidity above 65% preferably 70-75%. Good luck I am in lockdown also with 3 bantams due Sunday.

I'm having the same thing. Temp was 95-98 this morning, so I bumped mine up a bit. My first hatch, too!​
