Anyone up to set their eggs on Valentine's day with me?

I have read in several books to let the eggs sit unturned the first day or two? Does anyone do this ? Set them and let them sit and rest in the bator before first turn?

Yeah i assumed so - i mean why let rest in the bator if they have rested outside of it already

Still new at incubating and don't know all the rules , but my last egg, laid and still warm went into the bator at noon. The other 6 were laid Friday, Sat and Sun and then set this morning. we'll see if it makes a difference in 21 day of so.

Should have posted yesterday because it was Valentine's Day yesterday for me. lol

I set 2 dozen mixed eggs from a roadside stall. Can't wait to see what pops out of them

Hi,just jumping in here.This will be my third hatch.I have 50 chicken eggs in the incubator.....set some Sat and Sunday....8 more going in shortly.
I let my eggs rest and come up to room temp and then put them in and started the egg turner right way....I see no reason to wait

Anyway,it will be great to have some hatching buddies.....I can't wait!!
