Anyone use a decoy owl for Racoons and hawks?

We put up a scarecrow after a hawk attacked one of our girls. This was ~3 months ago and the hawk has not returned. She survived by the way....
 
It can't.
It might scare off hawks for about a half a day, but they'll catch on real soon that it's fake.

You are correct even the chickens were not scared of my fake owl and it's head moved when the breeze blew i bought mine to keep the song birds of my tomato's, that did not work at all.
