I used my new steamer with the muscadine grapes I had. It was so simple, easy & much less mess! Boil some water in the bottom, put it together & dump the grapes, or any fruit, in the top. Check every half hour or so to make sure the water doesn't boil out. With the muscadines, it took almost 2 hours, with all those tough skins. Let all the juice pour out the tube, toss the leftovers to the chickens & you're done! No straining, no waiting. Easy cleanup.

When I think of the hours I spent processing plum juice earlier this summer, and the mess it made, I wish I would have gotten one of these a lot sooner. My next project will be blueberry juice.
