Anyone use an egg cracking device?

Looks like a decent product but does it really work? My dad won't eat duck eggs - he loves the taste but says they're too hard to crack and he's tired of shells in the pan. I was thinking about getting this for him, or a similar product. Can anyone recommend anything?

Wow! Remember the egg cracker in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

It looks like a great idea, but watch out on the shipping on those ads.

Sham Wow was so awful, I had to cancel my credit card to get them to cancel my order.

With ducks eggs, I always crack them into a bowl first so I can pick out any shells. When my hands are hurting, I use the back of a table knife to crack them.

I was cracking goose eggs today for a stovetop cheesy goose egg casserole and wow, I forget from season to season how tough those shells are!!!

I almost got my iron skillet to whack it open....

I use a cool quail egg cutter for my quail eggs but it is more like a cigar cutter than the thing you posted. Maybe they have a bigger version for large eggs as that devise looks like it would make more of a mess than help.
