We just found that our banty girls were covered in bird mites. Not the big ones that we have seen before, but tiny little speck of dirt looking bugs. I used the Ivermectin pour on yesterday. They are still covered. How long does it take the ivermectin to kill the mites? Should I sevin dust them too? The girls are broody, and not laying now. Plus, one girl has giant scabs on her belly where the mites have been munching on her.
